SFERA training for effective policy-making in rural entrepreneurship held in Gospić, Croatia

A three-day cross-border training aimed at creating a more supportive environment for rural entrepreneurship development was held at the Development Center of Lika-Senj County from November 26th to 28th.

The training, designed to strengthen the public sector's capacity to improve legal and administrative collaboration and governance mechanisms, focused on creating a more supportive environment for rural entrepreneurship.

Organized by LAG Lika, the event gathered policy makers, including representatives from public institutions, development agencies, and experts in economics, entrepreneurship, and rural development from Lika and Puglia, who shared their knowledge and best practices, adding a cross-border element to the event.

Maria Ćaćić, Project Manager at LAG Lika, highlighted the significance of the initiative, emphasizing how the exchange of knowledge and experiences opens new opportunities for economic growth in rural areas like Lika.

The event contributed to strengthening cross-border cooperation and improving knowledge in rural entrepreneurship and development, significantly benefiting the economic progress of Lika-Senj County and Puglia region.

This training forms part of the ongoing efforts to support rural entrepreneurs through the exchange of expertise and best practices within the framework of the SFERA project.
