  • To uncover the pressing challenges affecting entrepreneurial environment of cross-border areas and learn from the good practices in order to improve the design and implementation of policy instruments for the development of rural entrepreneurship
  • To enhance the skills, knowledge, and resources of local policymakers and entrepreneurs, so that they can more effectively engage in policy-making processes, collaborate with each other, and achieve sustainable and equitable outcomes

About

The SFERA project aims to enhance cross-border collaboration, improve institutional capacities, and overcome legal and administrative obstacles in the Programme area.

With a focus on SMEs, this Small-scale project aims to promote their competitiveness and innovation through enhanced cross-border cooperation, particularly in rural areas. By fostering an integrated governance model, it seeks to create a supportive ecosystem for entrepreneurship. The project envisions an increase in cross-border cooperation and the alleviation of legal and administrative barriers, resulting in the development of a white paper with policy recommendations and the identification of best practices for rural entrepreneurship.
