09/12/2024
On December 5, 2024, CNA Bari organized a successful Open Day in Puglia, bringing together Italian and Croatian rural SMEs with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and new opportunities for collaboration. The event provided a valuable platform for sharing knowledge and exploring practical solutions for rural entrepreneurship.
During the day, participants had the opportunity to visit two successful local rural businesses:
- Caseificio Artigianale F.lli Derosa in Gravina in Puglia, a historic dairy that celebrates local milk and the region's cheese-making traditions.
- Casale Missore 1786 in Corato, an agricultural company that promotes sustainability and honors local traditions, with a particular emphasis on the production of Coratina olive oil.
Following the visits, a roundtable discussion was held, where participants shared insights and experiences on the best practices they had encountered. The conversation focused on how these practices could be applied to other rural businesses, with an emphasis on collaboration, the valorization of local resources, and the adoption of sustainable practices for future growth.
The event highlighted the crucial role of collaboration among SMEs in rural areas and demonstrated the significant potential for innovation and sustainability to drive future development.
