DAMT, realized within the PMO-GATE Project, contain the information of the tsunamis and meteo-tsunamis that have occurred along the coasts of the Adriatic Sea.

The Database is the result of the gathering and processing of a large amount of scientific information and constitutes a reliable source of data, useful both for research activities and for educational and outreach activities.

To query the Database in a simple and intuitive way, the researchers of INGV made a WebApp in ArcGIS-online environment, consisting of an interactive map that users can navigate to discover in detail the characteristics and effects of the tsunamis and meteo-tsunamis.

It is an opportunity to discover and improve the knowledge and the awareness about a natural phenomenon that, although little perceived, also poses a risk in the Adriatic Sea.
