Entrepreneurial Discovery of Key Blue Skills Gaps in the Blue Economy

This section is part of Work Package 1. The objective of the activities is to analyse the current state of the blue economy sectors, including trends, challenges, opportunities, and workforce skills, in order to identify critical skill gaps and future competencies needed to support sector growth. The project aims to propose innovative and sustainable educational methods that address these gaps, enhance workforce skills, and foster innovation and entrepreneurship, in collaboration with industry stakeholders, educators, and policymakers.

Designed to be flexible and scalable, they can be adapted to various target groups and expanded to new regions. Feedback and evaluation ensure continuous improvement, while collaboration between educators, industry experts, and learners enhances the learning experience.

To ensure consistency, recognition, and professional relevance, the certificate template has been developed in cooperation with stakeholders from the creative industries. This unified template helps maintain a consistent visual identity and ensures that all issued certificates clearly communicate the successful completion of the course.

Cross-border knowledge hub for development of knowledge transfer and blue skills in private sector

It will support the exchange of experiences, promote innovation and sustainability, and provide access to relevant tools and information. Designed to be user-friendly, inclusive, and scalable, it will enable continuous development and serve as a model for other regions.

- Report on Workshops on best practies in technology transfer and innovation management

The online workshop “Best Practices in Technology Transfer and Innovation Management” (19 March 2026) gathered over 50 participants from academia, industry, and support organizations to strengthen cooperation and share good practices in technology transfer and innovation management. Its diverse audience highlighted the importance of cross-sector collaboration and laid the groundwork for future knowledge exchange models and the development of a knowledge hub.
