The cooperation with the stakeholders for further development of the MADE IN-LAND project continued when yet another encounter with the stakeholders took place on 28th of February 2020 in Zadar.

Zadar County Development Agency ZADRA NOVA, together with University of Zadar, gathered different stakeholders from public and private sector in order to further contribute to the planning of the Pilot action as well as to the development of the project Strategy. The participants were representatives of regional government body Zadar County, tourist boards, entrepreneurs and family run farms, a nature park and cultural management bodies. The meeting took place in COIN coworking space in Zadar. The participants were introduced to the development of the Pilot action, its main components, goals and expected results. Further on, the gathered stakeholders disused the further possibilities for its management and the contributions on a cross – border level through the common Strategy.

Firstly, there was a presentation of geographical features of different parts of Zadar County through consideration of statistical data on tourist visitation, development of agricultural entities and other features that may be reflected in the implementation of the Pilot project activity.
The workshop was followed by a presentation of the initial idea for thematically linking the coast and the hinterland and integrating tourist contents through the concept of "The search for the fifth element". The concept of thematic interpretation of tourist contents through elements of fire, water, land and air was presented to the gathered stakeholders and examples of such interpretation were presented on previously identified cultural and natural assets.

The gathered stakeholders gave their recommendations for further development of the thematic concept and suggested certain cultural, natural and gastronomic contents in accordance with their own experience in working with tourists. Stakeholders agreed that collecting information on the habits and preferences of tourist visitors is a very important contribution to the development of project Strategy, but also to the process of future management and development of new tourism products.
