Partners Meet Online to Coordinate the Project’s Final Phase

On 22 October 2026, MILEPORT partners gathered online for the 5th Project Steering Committee meeting.
The meeting provided an opportunity to take stock of the progress achieved across the partnership and coordinate the activities leading up to the project’s completion.
Partners shared updates on their pilot actions aimed at improving the last-mile accessibility of Adriatic ports through ICT solutions, discussing implementation progress, remaining steps and the expected results. Particular attention was also given to the activities focusing on the transferability of project solutions, their uptake by port authorities and future cooperation among Adriatic ports.
The meeting also addressed communication and dissemination activities, as well as administrative and financial matters related to the final reporting phase. Partners agreed on the next steps and deadlines to ensure the timely completion of the remaining project activities and outputs.
The partnership is now moving towards its final project meeting and mutual learning workshop, scheduled to take place in Trieste on 15 December 2026, followed by the final project conference on 16 December.
The meeting confirmed the importance of continued cooperation among Adriatic ports to build on the results achieved and support the transfer of innovative ICT solutions for more efficient port accessibility.
