MMM: Meet & Greet: Discussing effective mechanisms to boost Interreg project results across the Mediterranean
05/11/2026
The ten Interreg programmes participating in the Multi-Programme Mechanism (MMM) jointly organised the MMM – Meet & Greet event on 11 November 2026 at Regione Toscana’s premises in Brussels, as part of the EURegionsWeek Close to you programme. The event is an opportunity to reinforce a shared commitment: making the knowledge, solutions and results generated by Interreg projects more visible, transferable and impactful across the Mediterranean.
The event will bring together representatives of EU institutions and Interreg programmes for an open dialogue, which will be moderated by Ivana Lazic (Interact), and address a key question: “How could Interreg programmes increase the impacts of their best projects?”
The panel will feature Vladimir Prebilic, Member of the European Parliament; Moray Gilland and Nathalie Verschelde, representing the European Commission's DG REGIO; and representatives of Interreg programmes: Chiara Campanile (Interreg IPA South Adriatic), Curzio Cervelli (Interreg Euro-MED) and Filippo Giabbani (Interreg Italy-France Maritime).
Following the presentation of the MMM's key achievements, the discussion will be followed by a Q&A session, offering participants the opportunity to exchange views and explore practical ways to strengthen the impact and uptake of Interreg project results.
The event will also be available via live streaming, allowing a wider audience to follow the discussion and engage with the debate on the future of Mediterranean cooperation.
