Mediterranean Peer Learning Visits: a strong start, next stop matchmaking!

30/10/2026

The Mediterranean Peer Learning Visits (MPLVs) are off to a strong start. More than 100 participants from around 90 organisations, representing all ten Interreg programmes of the Mediterranean Multiprogramme Mechanism (MMM), registered for the online Info Day held on 21 October 2026, confirming the value of peer exchange for Interreg projects working on sustainable tourism.

The Info Day introduced the MPLVs, a joint initiative of the MMM programmes. It explained how the Giver & Taker approach works and guided participants through how to take part.

Next step: the Matchmaking Event

“How to find your soul project” – MPLV Matchmaking Event | 5 November 2026 | Online | 10:00–12:00 CET

The Matchmaking Event will give ongoing projects working on sustainable tourism the opportunity to meet one another, identify shared challenges and interests, and match project needs with relevant experience. It is a key step towards finding the right peers and preparing a proposal for a learning visit.

From shared challenges to shared solutions

By connecting projects that face similar challenges, the MPLVs turn individual experience into knowledge that can travel. Projects can increase the visibility of their results, strengthen transnational networks and lay the foundations for cooperation that lasts beyond 2027.
