Port of Zadar Authority completes its pilot action with a video analytics system

The Port of Zadar Authority has implemented its pilot action within the MILEPORT project, installing a video analytics system at the domestic ferry terminal gates of the Passenger Port of Gaženica.
The investment includes high-resolution cameras, video detection and analysis software, and a dedicated server for data processing and storage. The system provides valuable data on incoming and outgoing traffic flows, supporting improved queue management, more efficient ferry terminal operations and the reduction of congestion and vehicle emissions.
The pilot action represents a concrete step towards the digitalisation of port operations and improved last-mile accessibility, contributing to a more efficient and sustainable port–city connection.
