Tour of the Neretva Delta

On October 14, 2026, the Public Institution for the Management of Protected Natural Areas of Dubrovnik-Neretva County organized a tour of the Neretva Delta.
The tour, guided by experts from the Public Institution, included members and staff from the "Prijatelj" (Friend) Association—a non-profit, non-governmental organization active in the fields of social welfare and humanitarian work, which advocates for the equal inclusion of persons with disabilities in society and the community.
During the tour, participants learned about the goals and results of the GREW project, as well as the natural values and rich biodiversity of the Neretva Delta. A boat trip in traditional Neretva vessels offered them the chance to experience the unique landscape and natural heritage of the area up close. Following the boat trip, they visited mandarin orchards, where they took part in harvesting this iconic fruit of the Neretva Valley.
