ACTION draws to a close in Ravenna: the project’s final meeting

On 29 and 30 September 2026, partners, institutions and stakeholders from the Interreg Italy–Croatia ACTION project gathered at the MAR – Ravenna Art Museum for the closing event.
After years of collaboration across the Adriatic, the ACTION project (ITHR0200390) held its final meeting in Ravenna, hosted in the Sala Martini at the MAR – Ravenna Art Museum.
The first day began with official welcoming remarks from Ravenna City Council and a speech by Helena Brčić, Project Manager at the Joint Secretariat of the Interreg VI-A Italy–Croatia Programme 2021–2027. The partners then presented the overall progress of the project and the results of the individual work packages. Considerable attention was given to the lessons learnt from the pilot actions carried out by the partners and to the technical sessions of WP4, including the presentation of the Transferability Plan and the impact assessment report on the awareness-raising campaign. In the afternoon, the group visited the Bevanella Visitor Centre in Savio, and the day concluded with a social dinner.
30 September was devoted to a public workshop on transferability, with the aim of ensuring that the project’s tools, methods and results can be adopted and put to good use by other regions even after the project has concluded. This was followed by a round-table discussion to exchange views and summarise the findings, and the ‘Voices of ACTION’ session, featuring the screening of the final video chronicling the project’s journey. The morning’s proceedings concluded with official closing remarks.
The event concluded in the evening at the Teatro Rasi in Ravenna with the theatre production O.A.S.I. – Orizzonti, Ambienti, Specie, Interazioni (Horizons, Environments, Species, Interactions), funded by ACTION.
