European Researchers' Night in Ferrara

Friday, September 25 saw strong public turnout and engaging discussions during the 2026 edition of the European Researchers' Night in Ferrara.
The DOS team enlivened the evening by connecting the scientific research carried out within the STRENGTH project directly with citizens through an interactive activity focused on risk perception.
At the heart of the initiative was the RiskQuiz: Guess Italians' Opinions on Natural Hazards, an engaging format designed to test the public on how Italians perceive extreme events and environmental hazards.
The quiz was developed using findings and data gathered within the STRENGTH and SCARER projects.
The event offered a valuable opportunity to discuss climate resilience, territorial management, and a culture of prevention with visitors of all ages, turning complex data into shared awareness.
