The Adventures of BoniFè is now accessible and inclusive to all!

We are thrilled to announce that, starting today, a special Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) version of the fairy tale The Adventures of BoniFè - realised by Ferrara Plain Reclamation Consortium - is available.
Created from the imagination of Maria Elena Bacilieri and illustrated by Veronica Cestari, The Adventures of BoniFè tells the story of a curious, smart little elephant who discovers and tests solutions for communities living along rivers and coastal areas.
In the last two years, The Adventures of BoniFè - realised whitin the STRENGTH Project - has guided younger generations through the educational programs of the Ferrara Plain Reclamation Consortium, explaining hydraulic management and the power of teamwork in natural risk prevention in a simple, engaging way.
Following the Italian and English versions, the AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) edition make its message truly inclusive and accessible to all children.
This release is part of the STRENGTH project actions, committed to raising public awareness, empowering communities to understand and prevent natural hazards, and promoting strategies to mitigate climate and environmental risks.
The AAC edition of The Adventures of BoniFè has been printed in 500 hard copies and is freely downloadable in PDF format from the 'Library' section of our website.
