Integration of the Adriatic-Ionian Cycle Route into the Istra Bike Portal

As part of the cross-border EU project CYROS (Interreg Italy-Croatia Program 2021–2027), the integration of the Adriatic-Ionian Route into the official Istra Bike portal has been implemented (https://www.istria-bike.com /). The core focus of the CYROS project is based on linking and mapping the Adriatic-Ionian cycle route and connecting it with multimodal and ecologically sustainable transport.
What Does the Integration into the Istra Bike Portal Include?
The integration encompasses technical development and the implementation of specific content that will be available via a dedicated subpage on the Istra Bike portal, including the following activities:
• Dedicated Project Subpage: Created with the implementation of the official logo and distinctive visuals of the CYROS project
• New Visual Template: A modern design tailored to the specifics of the route and European Union visibility standards
• Interactive Cartographic Display: A detailed and dynamic map showcasing key locations and Points of Interest (POI)
• GPX Tracks for Users: Enabling the display and download of GPX tracks – both for the entire Adriatic-Ionian route and individually by segments
• Content Descriptions: Detailed accompanying information, technical section descriptions, and guidelines for easier navigation on the ground
