On Saturday, 29 August, two activities connected to RELANDART took place as part of SEDIMENTI, an artistic journey that starts from the memory of the floods that affected Romagna and transforms experiences, stories and emotions into art and new forms of expression.
During the morning, participants joined artist Giorgia Severi in collecting the clay of the calanchi, a material deeply connected to the territory that will become part of the Land Art installations developed through the project.
The afternoon was dedicated to “Il Guado”, a theatrical journey curated by the theatre company Menoventi, which explored memories and experiences of the floods through stories, emotions and testimonies from people who experienced them firsthand.
The two activities brought together different artistic languages — visual art and theatre — around a shared theme: the relationship between people, memory and the landscapes they inhabit.
The day represented an important moment in the RELANDART participatory process, bringing communities into direct contact with local materials, memories and experiences. Through these activities, what was left behind by the floods became a starting point for reflection, creativity and new forms of cultural and landscape regeneration.
