The Interreg Italy–Croatia Programme is pleased to share a draft plan of key events for 2026, designed to foster cooperation, involve young people and promote dialogue and synergies across the Programme area. The calendar combines Programme-led initiatives, project events and major external opportunities for visibility and networking.
Dates and venues will be confirmed in due course, and the agenda may be subject to updates and changes.
January: Focus on Small-Scale Projects
21 January – Venice
The year will open with the Lead Partner Seminar of the 3rd Call for Proposals (CfPs) for Small-Scale Projects. The seminar will provide Lead Partners with practical guidance on project implementation, financial management and communication requirements, while also offering an opportunity for direct exchange with the Joint Secretariat.
February: Innovation and Blue Economy
12 February – Bologna
The Programme will participate in the Project Event “Artificial Intelligence, Blue Economy Conference”, hosted at Tecnopolo Bologna and jointly organised by Standard Projects funded under Priority 1. The event will explore the role of artificial intelligence in supporting innovation and sustainability within the blue economy, bringing together researchers, institutions and stakeholders.
April: Cross-border Synergies
16–17 April – Grado
The Programme will be represented at “INTERREG Italy–Slovenia OSI: How Synergies and Complementarities Bridge Europe”, an initiative highlighting cooperation opportunities and complementarities among Interreg programmes. Nine Interreg Italy–Croatia funded projects will also take part in the interactive sessions, contributing to cross-border and transnational exchange.
May: Engaging the Next Generation
25 May – Ancona
A key Programme Event of 2026 will be the Youth Conference, aimed at engaging young people in discussions on European cooperation, sustainability and the future of the Adriatic-Ionian region. The conference will encourage active participation and dialogue between youth, institutions and Programme stakeholders.
June: Promoting the 4th Call for Proposals
Mid-June – Online
The Programme will organise on-line Infodays on the 4th Call for Proposals. These sessions will provide detailed information on the call priorities, eligibility rules and application procedures.
October: Standard Projects in the Spotlight
October – Zadar
The autumn Programme agenda will include the Lead Partner Seminar of the 3rd Call for Proposals for Standard Projects. This Programme Event will support approved projects.
