ACTION Transferability Workshop in Ravenna: Nature-Based Solutions for the Po Delta Park

Wednesday 30 September 2026, Sala Martini, MAR – Art Museum of the City of Ravenna The ACTION project, funded by the Interreg Italy-Croatia programme, invites you to its Transferability Workshop. The day focuses on sharing knowledge and on the state of the art of the Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) already in place or planned to protect the territory of the Po Delta Park. The workshop will take place on Wednesday 30 September 2026, from 9:00 a.m., at Sala Martini, MAR – Art Museum of the City of Ravenna (Via di Roma 13, Ravenna). It is organised by the Parks and Biodiversity Management Authority – Po Delta. The workshop starts with the Park's territory, its fragilities and the projects underway to protect it. Speakers will then present hands-on experiences: nature-based coastal dunes that protect infrastructure and increase biodiversity, and tools for mapping risks and assessing how vulnerable cultural and natural heritage are. One session is dedicated to the ACTION Transferability Plan. The Plan is meant to build shared strategies across the Italy-Croatia cooperation area: guiding the ecological transition, protecting biodiversity and making maritime and rural areas safer. The morning ends with a round table and "Voices of ACTION", where the people who helped carry out the project share their experience. Agenda
