MEMORY ESCAPE at the 15th Advisory Forum on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe
From 23 to 25 September 2026, the 15th Advisory Forum on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe will take place in Yerevan, Armenia, under the theme “Routes through Time and Cultures: Education for Sustainable Heritage.”
MEMORY ESCAPE will be presented during the Forum by John Patrick Leech, member of the ATRIUM Scientific Committee, on Thursday 24 September at 11:15, during the Thematic Session 2 “Enhancing Education for Heritage through Digital Tools: Opportunities and Challenges.”
His presentation, “Engage young people in the co-creation of physical and digital experiences of awareness of the dissonant heritage,” will introduce the MEMORY ESCAPE approach to involving young people in the co-creation of physical and digital experiences for the critical interpretation of dissonant heritage.
The Forum will provide an important opportunity to share the MEMORY ESCAPE experience within the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe network and to contribute to the discussion on the role of digital tools, participatory approaches and youth engagement in heritage education.
