Final Conference: From Climate Risk Analysis to Resilient Coastal Planning
The Final Conference will take place on 15 September 2026 at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Economics and Business, bringing together Croatian and Italian project partners, researchers, spatial planning experts, representatives of regional and local authorities, and other stakeholders.
The conference will present the main results of the project and demonstrate how scientific analyses, planning methodologies and local knowledge can be translated into practical tools for strengthening the climate resilience of Adriatic coastal areas.
The programme will highlight key project achievements, including climate risk and vulnerability analyses, spatial planning tools and strategic guidelines, climate change adaptation plans for pilot areas, and educational and knowledge-transfer activities.
The event will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss how the knowledge, methodologies and tools developed through cross-border cooperation can support more climate-resilient coastal planning across the Adriatic.
