Youth4Sea – Ideas for the Future of Italy–Croatia Cooperation
ARCHAEODIGIT will take part in the Interreg Italy–Croatia Annual Event 2026, titled “Youth for Sea – Ideas for the Future of Italy–Croatia Cooperation”, which will be held on 25 May 2026 at the iconic Mole Vanvitelliana in Ancona, Italy.
This one-day event represents a key opportunity for dialogue and exchange, focusing on the role of young people in strengthening cross-border cooperation between Italy and Croatia. Within this framework, ARCHAEODIGIT will actively contribute to discussions on how to meaningfully engage youth in cultural heritage enhancement and in initiatives supported by European programmes.
Youth, innovation, and cultural heritage
In line with the event’s objectives, ARCHAEODIGIT promotes the integration of digital technologies and archaeological heritage, providing innovative tools for the preservation, interpretation, and accessibility of cultural assets. Youth engagement is a core element of the project: through participatory activities, training, and experimentation, ARCHAEODIGIT aims to foster skills development and awareness among younger generations.
Participation in the Annual Event will offer an opportunity to share the project’s experience in cross-border cooperation, highlighting good practices and transferable approaches.
Shaping the future of cooperation
The event will also provide a structured space for discussion on the future of the Interreg Italy–Croatia Programme, with particular attention to the post-2027 programming period. A key highlight of the day will be the preview launch of the 4th Call for Proposals, opening new opportunities for innovative projects and international partnerships.
Registration open
Registrations are open until 15 May 2026. We encourage stakeholders, young professionals, students, and all those interested in European territorial cooperation to take part in this important initiative.
