mareINfvg is the festival of the sea of Friuli Venezia Giulia Region taking place from May 2^nd to 13^th in Trieste. The event is a celebration of the coast side designed to enhance the link of the region with the sea, to stimulate involvement of citizens and to raise awareness of key players of the territory. The event is organized by the Maritime Technology Cluster FVG, reference player for the maritime technology sector of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, and will be structured with activities to valorize regional competences, to facilitate networking between research and enterprise, sport activities, events to promote the culture of the sea, technology demo with citizens and specific events to dedicated topics (as marine robotics).

With this regard, on May 3rd, we are organizing ROBOTIMA, event in the framework of the Interreg strategic project InnovaMare focusing the establishment of an innovative ecosystem in the Adriatic Sea in the field of marine robotics. The event is finalized to involve key players of the territory, present project activities and provide concrete examples of real application of innovative solutions.

We believe that robotic technologies could help to solve several environment and operative maritime and coastal issues and it’s important to bring them to the attention of the scientific and industrial community to promote the development of solutions. More info:

Seaborne communities for sustainable blue economy

On 4 May 2023, Seaborne communities for sustainable blue economy event will be organized within the framework of the mareINfvg festival. The projects financed by European funds in which mareFVG cluster is involved and which aim to develop activities in favor of innovation and the growth of skills in the maritime sector will be presented. It will start in the morning by talking about the Innovation communities through the dissemination of the results of the InnovaMare strategic project (Interreg IT-HR), in the context of which the Digital Innovation Hub Innovamare was founded.
