D1.2.1: Survey on Digital Public Services in small municipalities
This report outlines the methodology and framework employed in evaluating the performance of digital public services within the project area. Our approach is grounded in prominent methodologies identified in the State-of-the-Art Analysis Report, focusing on measuring performance indicators and comparing them with national benchmarks.
In particular, the reference to the DESI and DESIER methodologies is reported in the direct analysis of Local authorities' digital level.
Three main research tools have been developed and used during the process:
- A questionnaire, to investigate local stakeholders' level of engagement and their evaluation on the quality of digital public services delivered by local public authorities.
- A set of indicators to check and assess digital performances in Montebello di Bertona and Motovun-Montona.
- An assessment of the environmental impact related to the municipality websites

This analysis report presents the findings of the survey conducted to assess digital sustainability and perspectives on the deployment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in public institutions.The survey also evaluated stakeholders' opinions on the potential positive impact of AI.
Finally, the results of municipalities' digital sustainability assessment are presented and discussed.

Building on the outcomes of A1.1 and A1.2, INABLE Project Partners developed a list of specific actions aimed at enhancing the ability of small-scale municipalities to spur sustainable innovation among private entities and citizens.
This action plan outlines a set of initiatives over 3 years to strengthen the capacities of small municipalities in Croatia and Italy in supporting digitalization and sustainability among local enterprises and communities

WP2 - Activity 2.1
D2.1.1: Sustainability & Tech Lab Video
3 Sustainability & Tech LABs were organized (1 in Italy, 1 in Croatia and 1 online). These events were held as Peer Learning activities and workshops with external experts. The goal of this activity consisted in creating a first dialogue between research actors, policy-makers and public officers about the latest research efforts and evidence on the role of digital public services in supporting circular economy and ecological transition.

D2.2.1: Cooperation Agreement
On the basis of the cross-border exchange in the first months of the project and alongside the Action Plan, partners worked together to elaborate a common framework for an ongoing dialogue on innovation for sustainability.
This activity led partners and external stakeholders to sign a formal Cooperation Agreement to keep on working together to drive digital and ecological transition in their territorial area, after the project closure.
