About
The IN4BLUE project addresses skill gaps in the local creative industry and blue economy sectors, particularly in coastal tourism and maritime transport. To tackle these issues, IN4BLUE proposes a systematic approach involving collaboration among creative actors and technology specialists through Social Impact Business Incubators. This international collaboration aims to design and prototype sustainable concepts and business processes, enhancing the region's capacity for co-creation and innovation.
IN4BLUE aims to shift perspectives on digital and green transitions, emphasizing their social as well as economic significance. By fostering an ecosystem of co-creation, the project not only aims to develop successful models of transformation but also to significantly improve participant skills. The project is pioneering in its region, introducing innovative tools like design thinking, design sprints, and hackathons to traditional industries. It emphasizes learning through experience exchange and practical application rather than traditional training methods.
Transnational cooperation is integral to IN4BLUE's success, leveraging diverse skills and experiences across different territories to foster innovation and resilience in the Adriatic Region's blue economy. This approach also promotes a multi-polar mentorship concept, ensuring broad international participation and knowledge exchange among project stakeholders.
