The event was organized by  Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Dubrovnik-Neretva County Development Agency - DUNEA and City of Dubrovnik Development Agency -DURA, on Thursday, May 16th 2019 in Dubrovnik. As part of the event, project iDEAL main activities  were presented to all  visitors, with an emphasis on the activity currently under development - the Climate Change Adaptation Plan for the City of Dubrovnik.

The main goal of the project iDEAL is to improve climate monitoring system and to plan adaptation measures in the regions covered. One of the results of this project is  design of The Climate Change Adaptation Plans. Specifically, the European Commission encourages all Member States to develop comprehensive climate change adaptation plans. The County of Istria and City of Dubrovnik will thus be among the first in Croatia to implement the European Commission's advice in this regard.

The overall objective of the project will be achieved through a joint process of knowledge creation and implementation of a common DSS - Decision Support System - by developing and capitalizing on the DSS created within the TERRE project.
