COMPREHENSIVE ANALYSIS

Within Work Package 1 - Comprehensive analysis the goal is to analyse intangible cultural heritage and strategic planning for sustainable tourism development to assess destination management and promotion, tourism seasonality and the environmental impacts of overtourism across the Programme area, while identifying a framework for developing new itineraries, learning from good-practice models and establishing a stakeholder engagement model to support sustainable tourism practices.

CAPACITY BUILDING OF STAKEHOLDERS AND TRANSFER OF KNOWLEDGE ON SUSTAINABLE TOURISM PRACTICES

Within Work package 2 - Capacity building of stakeholders and transfer of knowledge on sustainable tourism practices the goal is to develop and test region-specific solutions to enhance stakeholders’ knowledge and digital and green skills, promote locally produced products, shorten supply chains and advance sustainable gastro-cultural tourism through slow food, farm-to-fork principles, agrotourism, API-tourism, eco-labels, environmental awareness and diverse capacity-building tools, while piloting innovative approaches to create new career paths, increase competitiveness in the labour market, raise awareness of smart and sustainable tourism, and establish a cross-border network of stakeholders and initiatives in Croatia and Italy to jointly promote tourism sustainably and effectively.

PILOT ACTIONS ON SUSTAINABLE TOURISM PRACTICES AND CB GASTRO DIPLOMACY NETWORK ESTABLISHMENT

Within Work package 3 - Pilot actions on sustainable tourism practices and CB Gastro Diplomacy Network establishment the goal is to develop and implement initiatives promoting sustainable gastro-tourism in Adriatic regions by engaging stakeholders, strengthening sustainable development actions and raising awareness of cross-border cooperation, while establishing the GUSTI Thematic Cross-Border Gastro Diplomacy Network to ensure long-term collaboration between Italy and Croatia by connecting chefs, food entrepreneurs and hospitality professionals and celebrating the region’s gastronomic diversity.
