Taste the Destination – Territori in Azione officially starts in Veneto

On 22 May 2026, the first territorial activation event of “Taste the Destination – Territori in Azione” will take place in Noventa Padovana (Veneto, Italy), officially launching the pathway developed by CESCOT Veneto within the framework of the GUSTI project – Gastro UpScaled Tourist Itinerary in rural regions of Croatia and Italy, co-funded by the Interreg Italy–Croatia Programme.

The initiative is part of the WP3 “Taste the Destination” activities and represents one of the concrete territorial actions developed within the GUSTI framework to strengthen sustainable tourism, local identity and cooperation between communities, businesses and territorial stakeholders.

The first stage of the pathway will be hosted within the public event Aperitivo Street, a widespread local initiative created by Nicoletta Allibardi and Luca Pasin together with more than 40 local businesses and territorial actors.

The event will focus on: community engagement and territorial activation,collaboration between local businesses and stakeholders,experiential tourism and territorial storytelling,solidarity and social participation.

A key role in the activities will also be played by students from Smart Innovation School, who will actively participate in organisational support, storytelling and field observation activities alongside local stakeholders and project partners.

The event will additionally include a solidarity collection supporting local families through the association San Vincenzo De Paoli of Noventa Padovana.

This first stage marks the beginning of a wider territorial pathway that will continue in the coming weeks through additional public events and activities in:

Abano Terme (15 June 2026),

Este (24–25 June 2026),

Corte Zecchina / Piove di Sacco (6–7 July 2026).

Through workshops, experiential activities and public events, “Territori in Azione” aims to transform existing territorial networks, local products and community experiences into opportunities for sustainable tourism development and long-term collaboration.
