Cooking class in Zadar

As part of the programme, a special Cooking Class will take place on 25th May 2026 at 16:30h at the Hotel and Tourism and Hospitality School Zadar (A. G. Matoša 40, Zadar).

Lovers of authentic flavours, traditional cuisine, and Mediterranean gastronomy will have the opportunity to participate in this interactive culinary experience led by chefs Josip Vrsaljko and Robert Pinto.

Participants will learn how to prepare traditional Adriatic fish and seafood dishes, with the menu featuring:

Traditional saur made with small Adriatic fish
Seafood ravioli in tomato and Mediterranean herb sauce
Fisherman’s platter: traditional fish, crabs, shellfish, and cephalopods served in fish broth with saffron

The Cooking class is designed as a combination of education, a gastronomic experience, and the promotion of sustainable nutrition, with a special emphasis on highlighting local ingredients and traditional recipes.

An additional value of the GUSTI project is its contribution to developing the skills of future chefs and pastry chefs. As part of the project activities, new equipment was procured for the school kitchen of the Hotel and Tourism and Hospitality School Zadar, further strengthening practical learning opportunities for students.

The GUSTI project focuses on preserving and promoting the gastronomic heritage of the Adriatic region by connecting tradition, sustainability, and modern gastronomic trends while encouraging the development of sustainable tourism and the promotion of local products.

Please note that the number of available places is limited. Registration is available via the QR code and link on the ZADRA NOVA Agency website.
