Flavours of tradition are coming to Zadar

Zadar County Development Agency ZADRA NOVA as part of the GUSTI project, is bringing a series of attractive gastronomic events to Zadar throughout May, with the aim of promoting traditional cuisine, local ingredients, and the rich gastronomic heritage of the Adriatic region.

On Saturday May 23rd 2026.,10:00h, at the Zadar Market, visitors will have the opportunity to attend an Exhibition of dishes prepared within the GUSTI Project, where they can explore and taste authentic dishes and desserts prepared by students and mentors from the Hotel and Tourism and Hospitality School Zadar.

An additional value of the GUSTI project is its contribution to developing the skills of future chefs and pastry chefs. As part of the project activities, new equipment was procured for the school kitchen of the Hotel and Tourism and Hospitality School Zadar, further strengthening practical learning opportunities for students.

The exhibition will showcase the richness of local gastronomic tradition through authentic recipes and ingredients characteristic of the Mediterranean region, with a special focus on preserving culinary heritage and promoting local producers.
