Lika-Senj County Invites Visitors to a Gastro-Cultural Event in Gospić

As part of the GUSTI project, Lika-Senj County invites citizens and visitors to a gastro-cultural event celebrating the rich culinary heritage and traditions of Croatia and Italy. The event will take place on Friday, 22 May 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the courtyard of Lika-Senj County at dr. Franje Tuđmana 4 in Gospić, bringing together authentic flavours, cultural experiences, and activities for all generations.

Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a diverse programme featuring local products and specialties from Croatian and Italian project partners, interactive activities, and cultural performances.

The programme includes a gastro experience and tastings of local products carrying the “Lika Quality” label, together with authentic delicacies presented by project partners from Dubrovnik-Neretva, Zadar, and Karlovac Counties, as well as the Italian regions of Emilia-Romagna, Apulia, and Veneto. Visitors will also be able to attend an expert presentation showcasing a best practice example by Smočnica craft business and participate in interactive gastro quizzes through tablet-based games.

Special activities have also been prepared for younger visitors, including a culinary workshop and face painting, while the cultural programme will feature a performance by a cultural and artistic society.

Admission is free of charge.
