The FishNoWaste project was recently featured in an interview on Radio Cooperativa, a local radio station based in Padova. The discussion provided an excellent opportunity to present the project's objectives, ongoing activities, and latest developments to a wider audience.
During the interview, we explored several key topics related to the sustainability of marine resources, including marine conservation, sustainable fisheries, cooperation with fishers and local authorities, and the challenges associated with reducing waste across the fisheries sector. Particular attention was also given to the role consumers can play in supporting more sustainable practices through informed choices and responsible consumption.
Raising awareness and encouraging dialogue among stakeholders are essential elements of the FishNoWaste project. Opportunities such as this interview help strengthen public understanding of the environmental and socio-economic importance of sustainable fisheries and marine ecosystem protection.
