A joint beach cleanup marked a meaningful conclusion to the training activities

18/05/2026

A joint beach cleanup brought the training activities to a meaningful close for class 1A from Istituto Enaip and class 2AAFM from Istituto Cestari-Righi in Chioggia.

The event was organized within the initiative “FishNoWaste: United for a Sustainable Adriatic Sea”, part of the European Commission’s official programme for European Maritime Day in My Country, and took place simultaneously in Split (Croatia) and Rimini (Italy).

Over the past sessions, students explored the causes and impacts of marine litter through the FishNoWaste project. With a fresh perspective, they visited the Chioggia fish market and the Zoologia Adriatica “Giuseppe Olivi” Museum, discovering the richness of the Adriatic Sea and the importance of protecting it for future generations.

The journey is not over yet: in the next two meetings, students will transform the knowledge and data collected during these experiences into creative projects for the upcoming museum exhibition in Chioggia. Stay tuned!
