Educational activities dedicated to raising awareness among young people about marine litter and its impact on our environment

With the 4T class of the Istituto “Romano Bruni” in Padua, we have successfully concluded the educational activities dedicated to raising awareness among young people about marine litter and its impact on our environment.
Throughout the meetings, students took part in classroom sessions focused on the project and on understanding the causes and consequences of marine litter, with particular attention to its effects on marine biodiversity.
During the practical activities, the students had the opportunity to sort, observe, and classify the waste collected at sea by a fishing vessel, transforming data and observations into reflections and ideas for the future.
The journey will culminate in the creation of a project that will be exhibited at the museum in Chioggia - an important opportunity to share their work and inspire greater environmental awareness in the community.
