The Split-Dalmatia County Prefect Blaženko Boban is also satisfied

The dry spring without rain and longer and warmer days have affected the construction of the Regional Training Center for Training Operational Forces of the Fire Brigade System in Vucevica. The facilities envisaged by the realization of the 1st phase, namely buildings A and D and access roads whose value of works amounts to HRK 35,944,999.10 million without VAT (ie 44,931,248.88 with VAT), are already receiving rough final outlines in the stone karst of the Dalmatian hinterland.

As the Split-Dalmatia County Prefect Blaženko Boban recently said during a visit to the construction site, this is a project important for all types of security.
- We are obliged to provide a project in the area of our county that is unique in Southeast Europe. I must thank the Municipality of Klis, the Fire Brigade of the Split-Dalmatia County and the people who worked in the preparation of this project. They did their best to realize this in record time, said County Prefect Boban.

The construction of the Regional Training Center for Training the Operational Forces of the Fire Brigade System in Vučevica (Klis Municipality) is co-financed by European Union grants within the FIRESPILL project and within the cross-border program INTERREG Italy - Croatia.
The goal of the FIRESPILL project is to increase the capacity of emergency services to improve cross-border efficiency in dealing with natural and man-made disasters, reducing population exposure to hazards and increasing the security of the Croatian and Italian Adriatic basins by improving emergency prevention and management measures and instruments.
Improving the operational capabilities of emergency services will be ensured through the procurement of security equipment, emergency vehicles on land and sea, mobile command and control units, communication systems and the establishment of the Regional Training Center for Training Operational Forces of Fire Brigade in Vucevica. train staff in the field of protection against natural and other disasters. It is planned to build and equip simulation facilities, organize seminars for advanced training (cross-border knowledge exchange), demonstration exercises to rescue civilians, etc.

The regional training center for training the operational forces of the firefighting system will have its branch office in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, in Kula Norinska, whose purpose is also the prevention of fires and other hazards in the Neretva Valley and its surroundings. These two Centers in Croatia will establish permanent cross-border cooperation with the Belvedere di Fabriano Training Park (Marche region) in Italy, which will also improve its infrastructure from this project.
