Developed Eco-Cultural Tourism Packages and Mastered Digital Marketing Tools to Attract Visitors in Dalmatian Zagora

Two mentoring workshops were held at the Development Agency of the Municipality of Dugopolje (ODRAZ) as part of the Ethnic project. Participants refined defined eco-cultural tourism packages and then learned how to promote them online using various channels and techniques. 

Representatives of tourism organizations, service providers in tourism, and other stakeholders in local tourism development were given access to a broad range of knowledge and skills in digital marketing. Special emphasis was placed on understanding advertising possibilities through the most popular search engine, Google, and on interpreting analytical data, as well as social media platforms targeted to different demographic groups: Facebook for older users, Instagram for middle-aged users, and TikTok for the youngest audience.

The acquired knowledge and experience will support participants in their future work, while the eco-cultural tourism packages will serve as the foundation for collaborative efforts to valorize the hidden tourism potential of the Split hinterland.
