The second in a series of three workshops for stakeholders was held online on the 3rd December 2020. The purpose of these workshops is to involve future users of the Ecological Observing System in the Adriatic (ECOAdS) in its development to maximize its usability and tailor it to the needs of various target groups involved in marine conservation. The Second Workshop for Stakeholders was aimed at PhD students as prospective users of the ECOAdS. Over 50 students from Italy and Croatia have participated in the workshop, learning about the current state and challenges of marine conservation in the Adriatic Sea, exchanging experiences and providing valuable inputs on how they envision the ECOAdS may best contribute to solving the marine conservation issues of the Adriatic Sea, with emphasis on Natura 2000 network.
