On May 26-27, 2026, the local Hackathon organized by EcamRicert within the framework of the European project ECOFOODCYCLE - Interreg Italy-Croatia will take place at the Sala Agricoltura of Corte Benedettina in Legnaro (Padua, Italy).

The initiative aims to foster innovation and encourage the co-creation of practical and sustainable solutions to tackle food waste, involving students, professionals, researchers, and innovators in a collaborative and high-impact experience.

During the two-day event, participants will have the opportunity to work in multidisciplinary teams, address real challenges within the agri-food sector, and develop innovative ideas through dedicated mentoring sessions. The Hackathon represents a unique opportunity to connect skills, creativity, and forward-looking visions focused on the transition towards more sustainable and circular food systems.

The winning team will have the opportunity to participate in the international Hackathon scheduled for July in Foggia, as well as enjoy a prize lunch at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Treviso.

Through this initiative, EcamRicert confirms its commitment within the ECOFOODCYCLE project to promoting awareness, innovation, and territorial collaboration on sustainability and food waste reduction topics.

The event is part of the broader ECOFOODCYCLE project, funded by the Interreg Italy-Croatia Programme, which aims to promote circular economy models and sustainable practices throughout the agri-food supply chain.
