On 07 April 2022, an E-Chain public event took place in Trieste. The title of the event was “The E-Chain platform for the sustainability in the Adriatic area. An innovative solution to promote a sustainable flow of passengers between Italy and Croatia”. The aim was to create and consolidate the network between the project partners and export the E-Chain know-how on the local authorities and all the interested parties of the city of Trieste.
The Public event was designed as a dynamic conference and was divided in two parts: the first was managed in plenary mode, the second as a round table.
In the plenary part, the E-Chain leader (Municipality of Ancona) presented the potential and functionality of the E-Chain platform, from the point of view of B2B, B2C and B2PA. Moreover, a focus was also proposed by Central Marketing Intelligence (Trieste, Italy) on the sustainability of the platform, from an environmental, economic and social point of view.
The second part of the event was dedicated to the round table with the aim of evaluating the exportability of the E-CHAIN platform from the three Pilot Sites of the project (Venice, Spalato and Ancona) to the city of Trieste. In addition to the project partners, both Italian and Croatian, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, the Municipality of Trieste, TPL FVG (local public transport), PromoTurismo FVG participated at the round table.
