DIGIT2COAST completes 1st period milestones and launches Phase 2

The DIGIT2COAST initiative has officially completed its first six-month operational period (January–June 2026), reaching a key milestone in its efforts to advance accessible, inclusive, and digitally enabled coastal tourism services across the Adriatic.
During Period 1, the project partnership fulfilled all scheduled objectives, establishing a structured foundation for upcoming technical developments. Key achievements include the publication of the Cross-border Comparative Assessment, the creation of a comprehensive Communication Editorial Plan, the finalization of the Kick-off Meeting Report, and the formal establishment of the Project Management Unit to oversee joint governance.
Following the successful completion of these initial outputs, the project has transitioned into Phase 2 with the launch of Activity A1.2 (Accessible Services Data Layer). Partners are currently co-designing the Care & Go Data Scheme, an interoperable data framework designed to improve cross-border information sharing and enhance accessibility for coastal service users.
With all first-semester deliverables successfully validated, DIGIT2COAST remains fully on schedule to execute its second-period targets and advance digital governance across target coastal regions.
