DEMY-Coop second Cross-Border Youth Forum in Sibenik

The second DEMY-Coop Cross-Border Youth Forum organised in Sibenik (HR) by Udruga Emeda on 4 and 5 December was a blast! Under the motto “Engage, Act, Change", the two days of presentations, discussions and exchanges between youth and local authorities were highly participatory and helped defined a new frame for youth social engagmenet in the Sibenik-Kinin area.
The event eas hosted at the Juraj Sizgoric City Library, providing an inspiring context for cultural exchanges and reflection upon the state of the art of yourh participation in decision-making in Croatia and cross-border cooperation.
The event has involved the cities of Sibenik, Drnis and Vocice ans well as students from local high-schools and three local youth organisaitons: Bokon from Vodce, the Youth Council of Vodice and Mladi u EU from Sibenik. Other organisations invovled were Europe Direct Rijeka and Europe Direct Zadar, whose presence brought attention on EU programmes addressed to youth such as Erasmus+, European Solidarity Corps, Creative Europe.
