CRESCO Adria Brochure: Planning Resilient Adriatic Coastal Areas
CRESCO Adria Brochure: Planning Resilient Adriatic Coastal Areas
CRESCO Adria has prepared a new digital brochure presenting the project’s main objectives, pilot areas, work packages, partners and next steps in a clear and visual format.
The brochure provides an overview of how the project supports climate-resilient spatial planning across Croatia and Italy by connecting scientific analysis, spatial planning, stakeholder participation, lifelong learning and local adaptation measures.
CRESCO Adria focuses on key climate challenges affecting Adriatic coastal areas, including coastal flooding, sea-level rise, erosion, heatwaves, drought and landslides. Through its pilot areas in Crikvenica, Sali, Nuova Pescara and Pineto, the project works to strengthen local adaptation capacities and support more resilient coastal development.
The brochure also highlights the role of the project partnership, which brings together universities, regional institutions and local authorities from Croatia and Italy. Together, the partners are developing knowledge, tools and planning approaches that can support better climate adaptation decisions in Adriatic coastal communities.
Explore the brochure to learn more about CRESCO Adria, its activities and its contribution to climate-resilient coastal planning.
