The final event of the CICERO project was held on December 4th.
The online meeting was attended by the head of the Fire Department of the city of Labin, the representative of the Municipality of Labin, the councilor of the Pratiarcati Union and the people who contributed to the success of the various activities that led to the achievement of the objectives of the CICERO Project.
The Municipality of Labin has shown great interest in the Italian Civil Protection system, from which it will take inspiration to improve its structures dedicated to emergencies, also integrating the contribution of volunteers present in the municipal territory and neighboring areas.
The Pratiarcati Union listed the increase in the skills of its volunteers, obtained thanks to the training courses promoted by the project and the experiences of sharing professionalism during the two joint exercises in Labin and in the province of Padua.
The opportunities for discussion stimulated by the Project have laid the foundations for a path of future new meetings to deepen the respective professionalism and pool the best practices of civil protection, both in emergencies and in ordinary times, such as communication to the population. It was a moment of declarations of friendship and a see you soon for new challenges.
