Three new appointments for a full immersion in the studies, activities, and results of the CASCADE Interreg Project.

The next series of workshops will be divided into the following dates.

On February 7th, at 9.00am, it will take place a seminar for experience sharing on technical-scientific activities carried out throughout the Apulian marine and coastal areas, among which the P3 pilot area (Torre Guaceto, Punta della Contessa, Melendugno) of CASCADE Interreg Project, and subsequently results presentation.

On February 9th, at 3.00pm, a workshop for experience sharing on technical-scientific activities carried out in marine and coastal areas in both Italy and Croatia, focusing on some pilot areas of the CASCADE Interreg Project, and following projects results displaying.

Lastly, on February 10th, at 10.00am, the Scientific Training Online will deal with the cutting-edge technology applied to marine and oceanic ecosystems study: the pilot area of Torre Guaceto.

The last training day aims to introduce and describe the main techniques for studying marine ecosystems with an in-depth analysis on the technological progress that have contributed, in the last few decades, to an increasing detailed knowledge of both the sea and the ecosystems it houses. Thanks to this technology, it is now possible to monitor and foresee both the anthropic impact and the climate changes.

In the end, it will be displayed a case study about Torre Guaceto, the pilot area, and the technologies involved in the continuous study of water quality in a marine protected area.
