The Public Institute of Development Agency of the Sibenik-Knin County organised an Open Day in Sibenik to present the BLUE KEP project and the results of the mobility programme on 12 June 2019. The aim of the event was to raise awareness among students, teachers and local businesses in their blue economy about the value and impact of international mobility for enhancing professional skills.
Ms. Karmela Crnica and Ms. Mira Lepur introduced the day and following presentations by students who participated in their experiences abroad. The students emphasised the value of their experience, both in teaching and in the practical part, as well as in the private sense of getting acquainted with their international peers. All present students recommended participation in similar programmes during school curricula.
The Open Day of the BLUE KEPproject in Šibenik was organised in 2 parts:
- Presentations by the students about their experience of participating in a mobility programme. Each participant received a promotional leaflet and a booklet of the BLUEKEP project containing all the essential information.
- Info Point at the premises of the Juraj Šižgorić City Library to inform the interested stakeholders and the media about the BLUE KEP project and its results.
