Save the Date: 2nd Cross-Border Networking Event in Foggia – 31 October 2025
The second cross-border Networking Event of the BIOBASED project will take place on Friday, 31 October 2025, at the DAFNE Department of the University of Foggia (Via Napoli 25), starting at 10:00 AM.
Themed "Algae and By-products: From Waste to Resource", the event will focus on innovative solutions for the valorization of macroalgae and aquaculture by-products through green biorefinery technologies. Experts from academia, business, and institutions will explore how these resources can be transformed into high-value products in sectors such as food, nutraceuticals, cosmetics, and agriculture — contributing to a more sustainable and circular blue economy in the Adriatic.
The event builds on the success of the first Networking Event held in Dubrovnik in September and continues the conversation on sustainable aquaculture, IMTA systems, and blue biorefinery innovation.
