To establish a knowledge base showcasing the natural, technical and legislative environment of offshore wind energy use in the four pilot regions, the current performance of Blue Economy sectors and the potential for offshore wind-based energy production, the Work Package "Adriatic blue economy sectors in business as usual surrounding" analysed marine ecosystems, offshore wind resources and the interaction between offshore renewable energy and existing maritime activities. The knowledge generated through this work package provides the foundation for developing sustainable offshore wind solutions and supports informed decision-making for future offshore renewable energy projects. The final output achieved is a comprehensive knowledge base supporting evidence-based offshore wind planning across the Adriatic region.
