The main goal of the third workshop was to present the project final results, together with the innovative technologies for wastewater treatment and purification - aerobic granular biomass, as well as the possibilities of their application in order to increase the quality of Adriatic Sea.

The fourth local workshop began with the introduction greeting, given by the representative of PI Izvor Ploče Ltd. (PP8) - Ms. Anamarija Krilić. The introduction was followed by Ms. Krilić brief presentation of the Project, Project’s main objectives, Transnational cooperation Programme from which the Project is funded, involved Project Partners as well as the Project main results.

The greeting was followed by Ms. Bilokapić’s brief presentation of the innovative technologies for wastewater treatment and purification - aerobic granular biomass. After, Ms. Bilokapić held another presentation and covered the topic of the possibilities of application of aerobic granular biomass in order to increase the quality of Adriatic Sea presented in the prepared article for the professional magazine “Hrvatska Vodoprivreda”.

At the end of the workshop, attendees participated in a constructive thematic discussion in order to underline the lecture’s key data, and discuss the possibilities of application of aerobic granular biomass in the process of wastewater treatment at the agglomerations located in the Adriatic Sea.

The participants pointed out that they were satisfied with the organized final local workshop and the presented content. At the end, Ms. Krilić expressed her gratitude to the lecturer and the as well the participants for their participation in AdSWiM local workshops.
