Interreg Italy-Croatia Programme was a part of the Biennale of Venice 2021! The event was held on 2 September to showcase the cultural and communicative dimension of the European cooperation. The aim of this informative initiative was to raise awareness about operations of the European programme & its projects and improve the knowledge related to the use of EU funds of the media representatives, while highlighting also their cultural and visual component.

The Adriatic area is a territory full of cultural content and social dynamics. The initiative addressed the issue of communication in European projects starting from the visual experiences of the Italy-Croatia Programme to shift to new methods of communication and involvement of the institutional and social stakeholders of the area. The event was specifically dedicated to representatives of the local/regional/national press, TV, radio and specialized magazines working in the culture, tourism, climate and transport related sectors, but also to the Programme stakeholders interested in the current achievements of the European Territorial Cooperation impacts in both countries.

The ADRIREEF project was presented among several other projects that focused on „How to enhance cooperation and territories in the Adriatic area“. Representatives of the ADRIREEF pointed out the main project activities and emphasis was placed on the second edition of the festival as part of the project.
