Pilot programme Makarska Holiday
From 7 to 10 April, the pilot holiday programme “Makarska Holiday”, organised by Zdravi grad with the support of JU RERA S.D. will take place as an inclusive, multi-day experience focused on well-being, social interaction and cultural discovery.
The programme will begin with participants’ arrival, accommodation, and an orientation activity, followed by an interactive social workshop. The second day will focus on spiritual and natural heritage, including a visit to the Vepric Sanctuary, time by the sea, and an evening of music and reminiscence.
The third day will be dedicated to culture and memory, featuring a guided visit to Makarska’s historic centre, including the Franciscan Monastery and the Malacological Museum, using storytelling and tactile methods. The day will conclude with a creative workshop where participants will create a “Makarska Memory Poster”.
The programme will end with departure, with a possible short visit to the town of Omiš on the return journey.
This initiative aims to promote inclusive tourism by providing meaningful and supportive experiences for individuals with cognitive impairments and their caregivers.
