As part of the ADRIJOROUTES – Promoting Sustainable Solutions for Maritime Cultural Tourism project, co-financed by the Interreg Italy-Croatia programme, a dissemination meeting was held in Komiža on June 12, 2025.

The goal of the meeting was to present the draft structure of the ADRIJOROUTES web application and collaborate with local stakeholders to define its content, visual identity, and functionalities, designed to promote Komiža’s rich cultural and maritime heritage,

offering both visitors and locals a sustainable way to discover the area’s unique tourism offerings.

A Collaborative Approach to Digital Tourism

The event gathered several participants, including the Mayors of Komiža and Vis, representatives of the Tourist Boards of both towns, the Nautical Center, Geopark, Hotel Issa, Hotel Biševo, FLAG Škoji, and the Sport Fishing Club.

During the session, representatives from RERA SD provided an overview of the ADRIJOROUTES project and shared updates on the Integrated Territorial Programme for Islands, highlighting several funded initiatives currently underway on the island of Vis.

This collaborative effort reflects the project’s core mission: to create innovative, user-friendly tools that support sustainable tourism development and cross-border cooperation across the Adriatic IT - HR.
